Gents,

I am looking for some load suggestions (suersonic and sub sonic) for this projectile loaded with new Lapua brass.

Thanks and I look forward to your answers

Hi Phil, Sorry its taken a while to get back. Be careful with the subsonic thing......you defo do not want to just go reducing charges way down below what is stated in reloading manuals....hoping to get a corresponding drop in velocity. At low charge densities you risk the powder lying in the bottom of the cartridge and the flame front from the primer washing right over the lot and it all goes up at once......rather than a controlled burn through the powder column in a well filled case. What you risk then is a very fast burn and sky high pressure.......plus bits of rifle in yer face. I dont have the specialised recipies you need Mate...sorry. But probably requires some pretty clever, very slow, bulky powder. Go very, very careful with this one. Adam . . . (out)

Adam, Thanks for your question. I am hoping to load the projectile into Lapua 7.62 x 51 cases, primarily as a supersonic round but a sometimes I want to shoot sub sonic with a silencer attached to the rifle. Phil
