His fascination into the opiate houses lead to confounded logical trances. A slow and strong depression arose from his love of his only love. His close darkness was his freind as it is to many of us.

I think he saw the world in a differnet way which only few of us can see today. He was a revolutionary and a brilliant one at that.

i think POe loved the dark side and found it easy to relate to cause of the problem with opiats and the painfull suffering. also he did not find it easy to comform to sociaty at that time. I think even at that time most of his way of life was not looked as normal.

He wrote horror because that was what the people wanted. Most of his early works were great masterpieces that the people of the times weren't ready for. Like several other artist he had to conform to society's wants to make some sort of feeble living. Sure maybe his dipression helped out some for is dark and dreary outlook.

I think its because he had some much horror in his life (like he used to think he was becoming insane). I think this trigged his thoughts into made-up stories of death and murder.
