Dear Miss, The cause, of Poe's unforeseen and appropriately melodramatic death, is of no certainly, but there are speculations as to the cause of his death. These hypotheses are drawn from ambiguous records of the last accounts of Poe. After his mother-in-law came ill in Richmond Virginia, Poe, against advice from the doctor, made plans to return to New York as to ensure the most healthy recovery of his past wife's mother, the last living person from which Poe had both given and received love. No one is sure as to what events took place aboard that ship, but one can certainly make their own conclusions from what was to happen to Poe afterwards. The next and last evidence of Poe was to be found in Baltimore. He sat barley conscious, unshaven, sloppily dressed, and terribly looking at a bar in the city, until he was taken to the hospital by fellow patrons. There he spent the next few days having conversations with objects on the wall that didn't exist, and he was suffering from hallucinations. It is possible that he died from a terrible fever, a brain tumor, some sickness or infection of the brain, or severe alcoholism. Whatever that cause eerily irregular as the tone still echoing throughout eternity from his writing. may be, his actual death is just as

A few months ago I saw a documentary abouts Poe's death on Discovery Channel. Recently some research was done involving a chemical analysis of a preserved lock of Poe's hair. In it they found some elements that pointed to the possibility of Poe being poisened. However, on the internet I'm unable to find data about this investigation. Could someone help?
