Fuji Reala 100 with Nikon F80 built-in Flash

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Photography Singapore : One Thread

Dear all,

A friend of mine asks me to take photos on their wedding day. I am only in charge of morning till noon as the official photographer is not available in the morning.

I am an amateur who use only a Nikon F80 with Nikkor 24-85 AFS ED lens. I intend to use Fuji REALA 100 on that day as i receive numerous praises for the film. However, i am concerned about the built-in flash which might not expose the film properly as it is ISO 100. What shutter speed should i use? Is 1/60 ok?

Most of the shots will be indoors.Ie. Groom visit the Bride early in the morning plus tea ceremony ( According to Chinese culture)

Please help. Kindly advise which setting to use. (Speed & Aperture)

Thank you.

I've been using that very film about 17+ years...awesome results. if I remember right an F80 is an N80 (U.S.). If so use the default flash sync speed (1/125 or 1/250 of a seecond). 1/60 will be too slow for hand-held situations...good luck
