I have heard of ways to tune a 4 string bass on a piano or keyboard but I'm not sure how so if someone could tell me which four keys you hit that would be awesome, thanks...

On a piano, play the 5th white key moving up from the lowest key (E); that is your lowest string on a 4-string bass. The keys from lowest to highest are E-A-D-G. They correspond to the 5th, 8th, 11th, and 14th key moving from low to high.
