Has anyone out there done any rowing/touring on Lake Nicaragua? It looks quite interesting. I want to row not paddle. I have a copy of the new Moon Handbook for Nicaragua which is very good, check it out if the idea intrigues you. One challenge is getting your boat down and back. One idea is to rig a folding kayak with a sliding seat.
