Hey guys.

I wasn't a very active person on the Anime forum, and so far I haven't been a big one here either. However, if there are more people like me around here, then people might think that the board is not too active and will abandon it. After the hit that we took with the Anime board being taken down, can we really afford to lose such a unique board like this? I think that everyone should try and get more people to this thread. If you remember the email addresses of the people from the last board, try to send them an e-mail to inform them of the new board if they don't already know. I found this one by coinsedence (spelling?) because I was checking every board that could possibly been connected to anime/manga. Just 2 days or so after i found this one, it was turned over to majinvegeta (sorry if i got the name wrong dude).

I would love to get the old board back. It is really the only board that I had ever been active in (even if it was only slight activity). I guess we can't do that, but we can try to build a new one. Maybe eventually we can get the go ahead to change the name to "Anime" and we'd be set lol. But until then, we need to make sure that we are set here.

So again, I suggest that everyone get your friends in here, and try to get older guys back here. If you have to, look in your Old Mail folder.

Not such point to that. Most people just passed by and ask a couple of question or making requests and then leaves when they got the answer. Very few in the old anime forum are regulars before the old board went down.

I wish controller J was still here though, she knows alot about manga sources and I just started reading manga after the old board blew up.

ive already tolled my friends bout this forum but is there not enough people? i mean is everyone on the old board that you need a password to get in to? i cant contact the guy whos supose to give us the password but im still trying.

Don't bother emailing mog about the password. I'm surprised she still moderates the board. I doubt she cares about reviving the old board, and it won't bring back more activities than this one.

I think most people have abandon hope on the other board returning, and I don't even think people try and check it out to see if it works anymore, so the best we can do is try to get more people to this board. So far their has been a great improvement sinc the board was handed over to us. I'm seeing more and more replies each day, but if you can get more people here, that would be great.

I did indeed get Wakataka'S e-mail, but I have my doubts as to how much better - if at all - this new board will be. It remains to be seen, but I anticipate the usual 20000 annoying and repetitive posts about Inuyasha, Kenshin and Naruto episodes and, of course, the 3000 off-topic and often inappropriate posts, (including a new one everyday about Goten >_<). Finding solutions to these things before they start should probably be a priority before trying to bring more people here.

This is an ANIME board so all Anime is accepted, and I happen to like Kenshin and Inu Yasha VERY MUCH, OK?!

This board will never be as great as the old anime board, but we can at least try to get it close.

Suupaa Gohan 2 missed the point I was making. I was talking about the old anime board where every other post was "Where can I get Inuyasha/Trigun/Naruto/DBZ/Kenshin eps," sometimes 5 or 6 identical posts in a day. It was extremely annoying for people to answer the same questions over and over again and we really wouldn't want that sort of thing here.

I see. I have an idea--Majin Vegita-Sama, can you seperate this board into two sections? Maybe one for discussing Anime and off- topicness like our little click does (Me, you, Yonk, AngelGoten, and now Pikachuu that he's back), and one for people requesting to download Manga/Anime/Hentai and such? Just a suggestion. And yeah...Those were especially annoying when you'd click on a thread that simply said "Inu Yasha" for example. I'd want to talk to people about one of my favorite Anime and all that would be posted is "Can u help me get Inuyasha episodes bittorent thanx" and such in poor grammar...So now I see your point. Majin Vegita, I wasn't really MAD, persay, but yeah you don't want me to be ACTUALLY angry...

Your BEST bet is to use Bit torrent. I know that you don't really like it, or that you may be hesitant to use it because it is file sharing, but it truly is the best way to download everything, not just anime. The first thing you need to do is get a bit torrent client to vouch for you. I can't really give the exact address right this second, but I will post another message giving explicite directions to the sites! Don't emial me please!!!
