مجلس اور حکومت کی مفاہمت کے نتیجے میں پاکستان کا آئین بحال ہوا ہے۔ ‌حکومت - مجلس مفاہمت نے ثابت کردیا ہے کہ مجلس کا اتحاد صرف مشرف دشمنی کی کچی بنیادیوں پر مبنی نہیں ہے، بلکہ اس کا مقصد نظریۂ پاکستان کی حفاظت ہے۔
راجہ ذوالفقار علی صاحب کے مضمون کا مقصد صرف کیچڑ اچھالنا معلوم ہوتا ہے۔ اگر مجلس مفاہمت نہ کرتی تو کسی دوسرے عنوان مثلاً "ملا کی سخت گیری" کے تحت کیچڑ اچھالا جاتا، اب جب مجلس نے مفاہمت کرلی ہے تو اسے مفاد پرستی کا طعنہ دیا جارہا ہے۔
