I know Poe went to the University of Virginia for college but what schooling did he go to before that?

Poe went to various schools, some private, in England and the U.S.

He was educated in both the U.S. and England. At five years of age, he was sent to a teacher, Clotilda Fisher, and then to the school master in Richmond, William Ewing. When he was six and a half, the Allans moved to England for five years. He boarded with the Misses Dubourg to attend a school on Sloane Street in Chelsea. He studied, very successfully, Latin at the school of reverend John Bransby in Stoke Newington.
