Thank you for thinking of me. A preacher friend was bringing words of comfort to the a family during the homegoing for a saint of 97 years. He divided our life span into quarters as in football with a quarter being 17.5 years. After 70 years, one is in "overtime". The saint was in "Double Overtime". So as I enter "overtime" pray that I will be able to reach double overtime in good health. Thanks again and be blessed

Happy birthday Rev. Paris what a double blessing to celebrate the birth of Jesus and to celebrate your birthday. Your birth was part of God's divine plan. How many minister's can say they were born on Christmas day.

I read what you said about 70 being overtime and I smiled but I remember those in the old testament that God gave assignments to and they would be in the "overtime category" according to your friend.

The point being there is NO OVERTIME, only God's time and he does not break it up into quarters, he can and will use you at any age. Remember Moses, Noah etc. God called moses later in life, Sarai was used also later in life. God has a plan for you and my dear brother you are still a powerful witness for Christ.

By the way one of my heroines is Rosa Parks who is 90 and working hard on the civil rights museum project and the wall of tolerance and she is still going.

You are fabulous and many, many more happy birthdays! Your sister in Montana.
