I'm looking for information about a Saint called Eloise...I think the day is 26.10.

Guten Tag! I am assuming your german by the cool way you spell your name, further more, because i am american, i believe that your 26.10 means October 26 to us ( we write it 10/26 )see my confusion. well anyways, there is a website that lists evey catholic saint it is http://www.saintpatrickdc.org/ss/ss-index.htm now there are an awful lot of them i cannot see the one you are looking for, the site is in english so you may need to translate the name of the saint to a pure english spelling. however, i will keep it in mind in my searches l8er

Johannes, can you give us any information at all about this saint? For example, male/female, nation of origin, time period, lay/religious/clergy?

Several Internet lists of saints in English show no "Eloise" at all -- neither for October 26 nor for any other date. However there are many saints with these English names: Louis, Aloysius, Louise, Louisa.

I will await your next clue.
