I have to write an essay on how Poe's life experiences influenced his writing if anyone could help with this i would appreciate it thnx

this is going to be short because im in class at the moment but i beleive that Poe's poem Alone is about his childhood and his mother being dead and his father having left his family when he was of a very young age and it is widley beleived that Annabel Lee is about his wife Virginia Clemm Poe and was published on the day of his death

Poe lived a problematical, difficult and troublesome life. In addition to what the first person said to you , he had foster parnets. His foster father hated him and his fostor mother died soon aftre he lived with them. When Poe grew older his fostor father left him with nothing. he moved and lived with his aunt and her daugther. He ende up marrying the daugther. she soon died of terberculois ( same thign his real mother died from). He became an alcholic. And later got re-mareid. His gothic literature was itroducned during the romaticism era.

Both of Poe's parents were actors (a profession considered unholy during that church centered time). Mother died when he was 2yrs old. Adopted by the Allen family. Spent much of his life trying to win the approval of his adoptive father. Went to school in England until college. Attended the University of Virginia, but was expelled. Accepted into West Point(a military college). Received an Unhonerable discharge. Moved to Boltimore to live with an aunt. There he fell in love with and married his cousin, Virginia. She died of tuberculousis. began using Opium drug. Had two major fears: abandonment and the unknown which often come up in his writings, he also seemed to fear being burried alive, which comes up many times in his writings. Was unpopular in the USA at the time, but Europe loved his writings. Never a heavy drinker. Is now considered the father of Detective and Short Stories. Lived from 1809-1849.

If it's 5 paragraphs long, you're going to have to concentrate on creative punctuation. Don't use commas or colons or semi-colons or dashes. Break the essay up into single word sentences and paragraphs made up of no more than two or three sentences. Good luck!
