how to make an 8x10 negative from a 35mm film

I am totally new to this but i was want to try Gum Bichromate and it ask the photographer to make an 8x10 negative (contact print) from your 35mm image....how is this done could you walk me through the process step by step from converting to processing....

i would greatly appreciate all the help i can get :o)
