A&WP book offered by Rons Books?

In the December issue of "Trains" magazine is a typical ad by Rons Books. Under the "What's New" heading is a book simply listed as "Atlanta West Point RR Remembered H/C 27.25 S/C 18.25". However, no details are included either in the ad or on the Rons Books website. I would be grateful for any information regarding this apparent book on the A&WP. Ed Faggart Lincolnton, NC

Larry's description as a'scrapbook' is pretty accurate.

Ed, this is a "scrapbook" style softcover book written by Walter Skinner. We reviewed it in the 4th quarter 2001 Lines South. The book is 180 pages and concentrates on A&WP history and lore from the Moreland and Newnan Ga. areas. It has reproductions of old photos, postcards, clippings, passes, and the like. Contact me off list if you want more details.

Bob Hanson's new book on the West Point Route (both the A&WP and WofA) is due out soon from Overmountain Press.
