cognitive therapy

Hi, I am doing a essay on 'How have models of cognitive processing influenced the development of treatments for depression?'

I am a bit confuse on what is meant by 'models of cognitive processing'. Do they mean Kelly's construct theory, Seligman's learned helplessness?

many thanks

I suspect they're thinking of Aaron Beck and his cognitive therapy approach to depression. Is you search Google using the terms "depression", "Beck", and "cognitive" you'll find lots of information about Beck's work. He also is the creator of the much- used Beck Depression Inventory.
