Me too!!!!!!!! And it's very good to hear from you again, Jackiea.

Good to hear, Chris. And thank you. I feel a peace...a holy presence and feeling...that I've not felt in a very long time. I sit here now, listening to the Jesus soundtrack and Celine Dion-These Are Special Times. A Christmas album. My favorites are O holy night and Come all ye faithful. She has such a beautiful, angelic voice. I'm just happy. How are you, Chris, my friend?

Jackiea, I love Christmas songs, too.

And things really are going good. I went to confession the other day and asked the priest if I could lie down during the Mass, in an out-of-the-way spot in the "crying room" because I get *so* tired sitting up, and I get these pains, and the priest said sure, and once I got his "O.K.," I started going to daily Mass, and it's just like this wonderful flower has opened up. Hannah said on a thread somewhere that daily Mass helps you orient your day toward God, and she's *totally* right. I just love going to daily Mass. I've been in a much better mood lately, too. And today I got the double-decker sacraments: annointing of the sick and Eucharist, and I just felt so great. I laid there in the pew, looking out the window at these beatifully green leaves waving in front of the blue sky, and I felt such peace in Jesus.

But how are you doing? I hope you're doing good. I like to see your posts here. Very warm and good-hearted lady. God bless you and yours.

Oops, I guess you already told me you're doing good. I guess I've been worried about you, with all the stuff going on (folks kicking you off your land, etc.) I hope that stuff's going better. Bye.

Your first four words, Jackiea -- I LOVE JESUS CHRIST -- made me think of this passage from the Song of Solomon (which ends with the right word, in view of this coming Sunday):

The voice of my beloved! Behold, he comes, leaping upon the mountains, bounding over the hills.
My beloved is like a gazelle, or a young stag. Behold, there he stands behind our wall, gazing in at the windows, looking through the lattice.
My beloved speaks and says to me: "Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away;
for lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone.
The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.
The fig tree puts forth its figs, and the vines are in blossom; they give forth fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the covert of the cliff, let me see your face, let me hear your voice, for your voice is sweet, and your face is comely.
Catch us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vineyards, for our vineyards are in blossom."
My beloved is mine and I am his, he pastures his flock among the lilies.

That was beautiful, John. Thanks for that. And thank you to Chris, too. I'm so glad for you, Chris. That's wonderful news you shared. If anyone deserves that...you do. I'm sure you all will understand this much better than most....I feel as if I'm floating. Just calm and at peace. I can literally feel the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of my heart. I haven't felt this way in a very long time and I'm just grateful. And as far as how things are going...same old same old. I'm just handling it better than normal.....for today, anyways. :)

O Holy Night

The stars are brightly shining, it is the night of our dear Saviour's birth.

Long lay the world in sin and error pining, till He appeared and the soul felt its' worth.

A thrill of hope...the weary world rejoices for yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.

Fall on your knees. O hear the angel voices. O night divine. O night, when Christ was born.

O night divine. O night....o night divine.

And in His name, all oppression shall cease. Sweet hymns of joy. In grateful chorus raise we. Let all within us praise His calling name.

Christ is the Lord. Then ever, ever praise we. Noel! Noel! O night....O night divine.

Noel! Noel! O night....o night divine.......Noel! Noel!

O holy night.

Jesus said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. --Luke 9:23-24 New International Version

"I've just got to find myself." Won't ever happen. We do not "find ourselves, our life" by pursuing it. We find it by losing it to something or someone greater than ourselves. We find our life by losing it to Jesus and the work of his Kingdom

Dear Friends,
It's heartening to see the newest postings showing your devotion to Our Divine Lord! I am presently listening to a lovely piano recording of Via Crucis, by Franz Lizst. The pianist is Leslie Howard. If any of you out there in cyberspace have access to this music, today Good Friday is an ideal time to play it. It is extremely moving.

Most Glorious and Sacred Heart of Jesus, we adore Thee!
Pray for us, Mary Mother Most Holy!
Saint James, Holy Apostle, pray for your servants in this forum! Amen.
