Hello, I found in one book that Kalangada is a janya of Mayamalavagowla. I found 2 more ragas with confusing names.

1. Kalkadi 2. Kalakandi

3. Kalangada

Out of theses three 1 & 2 are given as a Janya of Gayakapriya. Is there any Raga by name "KALANGADA". Please clarify. Anyway thanks for replying to my prev. Mail.

I am not sure whether any kalakandi is there but there is one kalakanthi raga in which Thyagaraja composed one song Srijanaka. Shadjam Sudha Rishabham Sudha madhyamam Panchamam sudha Dhaivatam sudha Nishadam.
