Hello All, I'm new to this forum, but you seem to have a good thing going here. I'm a 30 year old Army Special Operations Soldier about to become a PFC (that's Private F*cking Civilian, not Private First Class)and I was just looking into sites to share info and opinions on what's going on in the world. My background is Psychological Operations, Anti-Terrorism/Counter-Terrorism and Counter-Insurgency Operations, and I've been priveleged to work with some of the best operators in the world from the Air Force, Marine Corps, and Naval Special Warfare communities. I live in Colorado Springs, but will probably be departing soon for the Big Sand Box again (this time as a civilian consultant)around January. Drop me a line and let me know what you guys are up to. I look forward to reading some of your posts... -Sine Pari- Mike

Mike, welcome back to Sillyvillian life and all it's petty wants and needs. Given your age and background, I take it you've seen the best and worst of the Clinton years too. Ronnie got us the toys, Georgie let us put 'em to good use, Billy led us out into "the field" a few too many times ill-staffed, ill-equipped, and ill-planned--SNAFU. Was good for the home front though. So you're an educated man, what's your threat assessment on terrorist's next plan for America? It's hard to top the WTC incident since that move shook up our economic perceptions on top of other things. However, it forced us to take a good look at ourselves and all the weaknesses prevelant in our day to day operations as a country. Personally, striking deep inside the homeland is the next step, but how would they pull it off?
