Baby brother thank you for putting this post on the board and thank you so much for your kind words!!!! I am thankful for you being a brother in my life, I am thankful that God called me by name to serve him, I am thankful for Jesus Christ who walked to Calvary. He could have left town a week earlier, but gives me his love everyday. I am thankful for the Holy Spirit for daily wisdom and joy. I am thankful for my beautiful daughter who is my colleague in ministry and my best friend and my joy. And lastly I am thankful for Robert Matthews III who gives me strength to do ministry and when I have been weary he tells me to continue to serve the Lord.

I love all of you who post and read this board for I believe in my heart that everytime someone comes to this board the light of christ is turned on around the world. Happy thanksgiving and to our ame family in europe, canada and africa. I also wish you happy thanksgiving and if you see a turkey wandering around eat it, yell at some relatives, eat sweet potato pie, watch the men as they watch football or soccer and you too can have an american thanksgiving. Just kidding folks. Love ya, Denise

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!! Can't wait to sink my teeth into some collard greens, candied yams, potatoe salad (Southern style), roast beef, smoked turkey, rolls, Sweet Tea (a little table wine too) etc. I will of course be eating and eating a lot next week. Pray my strength that the Lord will teach me and my family humility in the midst of plenty when some are experiencing penury. For a liberal Democrat Parson Ray is alright with me. I just can't invite him to my GOP fundraising events. He would kinda standout with some of his political ideas :-) QED

Praise the Lord Church! We have so much to be thankful for in the 5th. The fires in both Montana and California have given way to a promise of beauty displayed on the scorched ground in the spring. We are thankful that you all didn't stop praying until God answered. We are busy preparing for our thanksgiving gifts to the community (food certificates for those in need at the church, visits to the elderly who are shut-in, goodie bags for the homeless etc), and are glad to be able to share. The season is upon us and I can't help but think about the gift God gave us in Jesus. That causes my heart to flutter and knees to become weak; so weak that I have to fall on them quite often. I love you all, but most of all I love the communion we share in our love for the Lord. Be blessed this season Church! I am holding on the promise that where two or more are gathered in His name there He will be also. Felicia
