PSX Stuff

Ok, my brother scratched up my Lunar 2, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy Anthology (5+6) and my Final Fantasy Chronicles (FF4+ChronoTrigger). So I still technically have them. (He was mad, I put a lot of butter into his shoes)

I've been reading this board, and it says I can get ISOs of them. Do any of you recommend any good places to get ISO's and can anyone tell me about properly burning them to work on the PSone? Oh yeah, I don't have a "mod" chip, so I don't know if that means anything.

It's hopeless to try and rip them to ISO format. The extraction process would either not work or take forever. Even if you could rip it, the game would lack features and data that were scratched and replace them with nothing. For example, if the data where the background music has scratches, then you would have no background music. So just try downloading the ISOs from supernova.org or kazaa lite. To play the burned game you WILL need a chip or bootdisk that will allow a region-free play on your playstation. If you have the old psone (bulky) then simply buy a gamehunter get it here: [http://www.console24.com/ps_game_hunter/] and plug it in the back. However, of you have a new psone (compact) then you will need a mod chip or boot disk. I recommend the boot disk because it does not void your warramty and you wont have to open your playstaion up. find it here: [http://www.console24.com/ps_x-change_2/]

if you need anymore help feel free to ask
