And if you want to see a good anime movie check out Vampire Hunter D, Metropolis (a little boring but amazing visuals) or anything by Miyazaki ( Spirited Away, Pricess Mononoke etc).

Junni Kokki would be my recommendations for those who likes fantasy drama. Although the basis of the story is using the cliché girl got warped to another world, everything else is unlike what you would see in fushigi yuugi or inu yasha.

I don't know about "must" watch. In my opinion there is never any "must," you won't die if you don't watch any of these titles. That said, Hajime no Ippo and Azumanga Daioh are really really good.
