whenever i log on 2 my computer, all i see is the background picture and nothing else. i don't see the windows bar or anything. no destop items or anything like that. can someone please help me out with this and will they be able to show me a way around this?

Looks like you overloaded your harddrive. Only choice is to:

a)restore your comp b)leave it on that start screen for about 30min if it doesn't work, then you will have to try restore.

You may have to load the hard drive onto another PC, partition it, then reload it piece by piece back to your original PC, that is, unless your PC has more than one hard drive, which it probably does.

thanks for the help but it says that i am missing a file that is called

C/Windows/Systems/VMM32/ifsmgr.VXD

anyone know what the heck this file is and how will i be able to get this back? it says that i will need this to run windows
