Can anyone help me out with information about an artist named "Buckingham?" I recently bought a box of quilts at an auction and there was a painting in the bottom of the box in a rather ornate frame which appears to be signed "J.S. Buckingham 1898" The scene is of a riverboat and a grove of trees. The medium on which it is painted says "F. Webber and Co's. Academy Board.

Any information would be sincerely appreciated--
