The Pope's official Uniform outside of Mass

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Catholic : One Thread

Please describe the Pope's offical uniform pieces. My son is dressing a "doll" for a heritage project at school. He is doing the POPE from head to shoes.

Another Christina , here. Do a Google search for some pictures...mainly his "street clothes" consist of a white cassock (nowadays, few priests wear them, but they are usually black) It's a button-down robe type of thing. And he wears a white skullcap (zuchetto) on his head. On his shoulders there's a white cape thing and he also wears a pectoral cross/crucifix which is kind of attached so the chain drags down on both sides. Hope this helps...again, some photos might help explain these things a bit better.
