When i type a manga channel (#shoujomagic or #mangaproject), i find myself in a channel where nobody is in. Can anyone tell me whats wrong. Thanks.

I think its cuz ur in the wrong server, so make sure ur in the right server.

That's right, make sure you're on irc.mircx.com, not whatever server the client takes you to by default. If you're using mirc or sysreset, type "/server irc.mircx.com" to connect.

Why do so many manga groups have opening for chinese translator, I thought alot of people on irc knows how to read traditional chinese.

Firstly, you need to realize that understanding something is not the same as being able to translate it effectively into another language. Secondly, the fact that someone can do something does not necessarily mean they WANT to do it. A lot of people on irc would rather have someone do all the tedious translating work while they do the fun reading bits.
