I play NBA JAM (all roms tried) and when i beat the first opponent team (in all four periods) the game doesn't continue to the next team. instead of that the "game over" notification appears on screen. Is this normal? Every win is game over and start again'n'again?

That is how the arcade is they want you to put in your name and then they want you to keep putting credits and using your name you don't get free play for winning
