I'm doing a research paper for school and i have a few questions I can't find anywhere else. I would like to know for what magazine did Poe work for, What town did poe die in,And what line from the poem "The Raven" is on his grave stone. Try www.eapoe.org for research since you probably have more questions. Poe wrote for several magazines north and south. Such as "TRhe Southern Literary Messenger" "Graham's" "Broadway Journal" "Godey's Ladies Book". Poe died in Baltimore. The monument is not his tombstone but the Sir Moses Ezekiel monument to Poe at the Law School in Baltimore. "Dreaming dreams/ no mortal/ ever dare/to dream before."
