Does anyone know an anime series that has a sad ending?? Or death of a chracter?

um.... why would you want to ruin an anime by knowing the ending ahead of time? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of watching the series?

X (the TV Series- and Manga.) and Saikano are definately good sad ones.. I thought Blue Gender was pretty meloncholy. Now And Then, Here And There is sad. Ayashi No Ceres- albeit Shoujo- is pretty depressing. I'm guessing you've already seen Cowboy Bebop. BERSERK!!! HOW COULD I FORGET BERSERK??!! Berserk, Too.
