I need to know: How has life today been affected or is different because of his work? and: What were Poe's accomplishments and contributions to society? somebody pleeeaaase help!!!!

Life today has been affected by Poes work in many ways. One would be that he gave people like himself(distraught, weird, scary, and made fun of) A dream and an inspiration. Another would be that he showed the world that you can write to get your feelings out and that stress and suicide are not always the answer. As for the other question, I will let someone else help you with that.

Poe's contributions were decidely literary and very much unique and challenging to various trends and establishment in American culture. I think that edar was a scary guy that was just meested up on druggs. poeb was a cool guy and knew how to exspess his feeling with out saying it out loud. he would write poems and the one that stuck out to me the most is the story called The Raven . now my sister jessyka flax was cool with edgar.
