Hello Does any body have any good tips or tricks of the trade when using a scope, in a very cold cimate. Or know where to get this info. Hoping to mount a scope on my issued 303.

One breath on a cold scope lens, especially in below zero temps, and you are done shooting. Attempting to clean the ice off will remove some of the lens coating. Learn to exhale away from the scope (down and away through pursed lips). Also, keep scope caps down until ready to aim and fire. See-through, pop-up caps are best. (Butler Creek or similar).

1. Get a top-quality scope (better construction, more waterproof) 2. Protect the scope from moisture - good lens covers, e.g. 3. Don't bring weapon/scope inside. That's a sure way to fog up your lenses.

Hi Kelly, First of all, try to keep your weapon in same same temperature. Try to keep it away from any heatsource, condensed water will form. Also, donīt use any oils or any other stuff on your lenses, it will ruin your lenses!! Just use a fine brush. Used a Accuracy International with a Hensold 10x42 ontop for about 8 days in the swedish alps, no problem at all.
