I am really interesting to know, how this forum is made and it's getting spidered by search engines every day. I want this for my website too. I am not going to do is as a forum to discuss but I need to make something like movie review. whre every one can post title of the movie and post their reviews and all discussion.

Philip Greenspun used to offer a number of free web services, running on his server. Anyone could set up their own bulletin board. Since I got a lot of questions about Video CD that I couldn't answer (from people who read the Video CD FAQ), I thought I'd set up a bulletin board where people could ask questions and get answers.

For details of how the software works, see the links at the bottom of the top-level page.

Philip has decided not to continue adding new bulletin boards, since it's pretty easy to set up interactive web services these days. But he hasn't deleted the existing bulletin boards, fortunately.
