he is killed by android 17 but that episode is one of the 16 episodes cut out by funimation.

well, he gets married to c17 like u see in dbz. then in gt he still has his hair, and now a moustache, which are both grey. he also dresses like an old man. he gets involved very little in gt. he is more a bystander, and someone that follows the crowds - just that u recognise him (e.g. when they are off to babi's planet). he is kiled by c17 as shaun mentions, in an attempt to get c18 tot side with him, which fails. he is later resurrected, and u see him in the tournament on the stands aswell after the babi saga. the last u see of him is on roshi's island, when goku is saying his good byes and they have a 3 second fight - for old times sake it seems.
