is this rifle a high quality rifle cause i'm looking to get into competition shooting and i want something to be able to hit a 1000 yards?

The rifle is no better than the shooter, I could hit a target at 1000 yards with a freakin' .22 rimfire, if I had enough practice. Focus on buying a rifle which has many interchangabe parts and even more upgrades ,,, such as triggers, etc. I suggest a Savage Model 112 for light class due to an installed trigger upgrade for under $150, choate or benchrest stocks made by eveyone for a song and a dance, and one of the best shooting factory barrels made ... even better than remington...lol ... yup ... even better than remington. Put the money into optics ... playing the 1000 yard game requires big money optics. Better to have a rifle grow with u as a shooter than have a fancy high priced piece of shit u cant do nothin with!
