i have noticed in some screenshots online that the tetsigia (nowhere close, his sword) is red. can anyone tell me why it is red/turns red. thx.

It turns red because tetsigia absorbed the powers of a demon that can create a strong barrier. So now Inuyasha can use it to break Narauku's strong barriers.
