I have a 68 gto and the frame is rusted.I have a good clean 68 chevelle frame it has been already painted and the front end rebuilt will there be any thing to change or is everything the same.

chevelle frame vs gto frame

I think they are the same. I had a rusted 68 gto convertable frame. I used a 68 lemans hardtop frame. I had to cut the boxed section off the conv. and weld it on the hdtp frame. one side was so rusty i couldn't use it. i went to a junk yard and cut the boxed section off a 68 chevelle conv. frame and used it. it fit perfect. just check the body mounting holes. if they match i see no reason not to use it. if they don't match cut the missing mounts off one frame and weld to the other.
