Dear Sir / Madam,

I recently tried playing a movie CD on my computer, but it only contained many folders and inside those folders were files of 'filename.dat' and 'filename.VCD' formats. I do not know whether they are VCD or DVD formats, and how can they be played on a computer?

Answers

You can open this with any DVD player software (Win DVD, Power DVD, etc) or windows media player or real one player.
