We had a Johnson's Tamales on Vicente Street that sold "Combination High-Life" Enchiladas. Sliced breast of turkey on top of a beef enchilada with a sauce that was legendary.

Hi, The Tamale Grotto on Vicente was owned by my family until we sold it it 1975. I lived above the store on Vicente. Best darned tamales I ever had. I have yet to find one as big and as good. Peace.
