So what is everyone's favorite Episode of Dragon Ball Z?

Mine would have to be Final Atonment. The episode of the Majin Buu saga where Vegeta sacrifices himself to try and save the planet and his family. its the first time he truly shows he has a heart. and the fact of Vegeta being my favorite character it made me honestly cry.

Mine was when goku turns SS3 in the buu saga- it was just out of no where... that and probably the same as gohan turning ss2

my fav episode is from the freiza saga, episode 64 fighting power one million, because i love seeing the saiyan home planet being blown up.

Yea Oz I have to agree that the transformation of goku in SSJ3 is really cool but gohan is so incredible :P He's my favorite dbz character. I don't know if you heard about Castor Troy (from Gina Gri Gri) He did a remake of the music video "Gohan's explosion" (that he did a while ago) with a song of Megumi Hayashibara. That video is increible. Actualy that video is the first dragonball thing I saw in my life and that make me llike Dragonball like madman :P (that was many years ago). You should try get it or/and other vids he did. Or if you want I can send em to you. Anyway get them its a must.

The episode when gohan goes super sajain at the cell games.

I guess you could say I go for the more emotional episodes for my favorites...because DBZ is an action oriented anime its hard to imagin anything majorly emotional happening BUT it does. thats why my 2nd favorite episode would have to be during the cell games while Gohan is pushing the Kamehameha wave and all the other Z Fighters stand up and start hitting cell wiht blasts and telling why they are helping. What Goku has done for them through their lives. its jsut so emotional it makes me cry jsut like Final Atonment. Hell I'm telling you people I cry and I'm 21. Haha. Well there is my second favorite.

I like all the DBZ episodes except any of the Garlic Jr. episodes. The Garlic Jr. saga was so boring.

Well...that's a tough one, I would have said it was when Gohan turned SSJ2 when fighting Cell but, quite frankly, it's as if everyone and their pet ferret says that.

So I'd have to agree with you on The Final Atonement, when Majin Vegeta fights Buu. After Goten and Trunks save him from being killed by Buu, Vegeta finally admits his love for his family and his son. Then he knocks both of the Chibis out with loving but somewhat...practical force and suicide detonates, sacrificing his life for the planet Earth. Not only is this an absolute out-of- character moment for Vegeta, it remains my favorite Z episode of all time. That is mostly because I'm a very emotional guy, and the part when Vegeta is embracing Trunks and that soft music plays in the background brought a genuine tear to my eye. I experienced such an overwhelming wave of emotion, that of which NO episode of NO televison show has ever brought to me before and will probably never bring to me again. It absolutely changed the way I thought about Dragonball Z, I started to look beyond the fights and violence and search for the message, the feeling of Catharsis inherent when one of one's favorite characters makes the ultimate sacrifice: martyrdom. And I simply love the fact that there are other people who look deeper into the series and who actually did cry in the Final Atonement, it scares me sometimes, no other episode ever made me feel this way, and I treasure this rare experience. I know people who have shelves lined with every DBZ video ever made, I have only one, and I recorded it myself. It is the only episode I have taped because it is, to me at least the only one that really matters that much, and it disappoints me that there are so few people that share this view and look beyond the fighting. And I hate that most of the guys I know that are DBZ fans would die before admitting that they ever showed any emotion towards DBZ, much less publicly admitting being able to freely weep whil observing, in my opinion the greatest moment in all of DBZ history, thank you. Peace: Yonk

This is getting too emotional. Besides, I haven't watched too much of the anime. I'll sit this one out as well.

Lol...I Guess I Liked "Free The Future" Because After All Trunks Has Suffered..He Finally Defeated The Androids And Peace Was Brought Back In The Future~I Liked Final Atonement Too Though! =)

Yeah, that would have to be my second favorite. Especially after seeing the Trunks special, I was thinking GO TRUNKS! when he beat the crap out of the Androids after they had killed everyone in his timeline, really rightous.

best DBZ ep is deffinately "Save the wolrd" and best song ever is "Where is my mind?" by The Pixies.......oi to the punx fuckers

Well, i can't really say what's my favorite dbz episode because i haven't seen them all. But the 'innards of buu' is really funny one, i just love the releationships between the dbz characters, and in the episode innards of buu, goku and vegeta are just goofing around like brothers, thats just awesome. Well, if i go for the emotional side of dbz(which dbz for me mostly is)i'd like to point out the bond between gohan and piccolo. Piccolo is my favorite character so far, because of his great confidence and the story-line, where he becomes friends with gohan and finally wins his 'dark-side', etc... it's just so emotional, when piccolo is always there to rescue gohan...

Sorry about the possible typos, i dunno if anyone reads these posts anymore?

My fav would have to be when piccolo uses his special beam cannon to blast a hole in raditz's stomach and gettin goku caught in the act ..that was the shizzle ...one of the best yet
