Im trying to make a motor cycle out of a weed wacker motor. Im going to mount the motor on the back of the bike and drive the bike by chain. I was wondering if it would pull both me and the bike fast enough. I weigh about 96 pounds and was wondering if it would work and how fast I would go if it did.

ive done this befor i may be only 14 but i got some ideas i used a ryobi 23cc engine off a whipper snipper and made a drive using three nuts drect drive to the wheel it goes 65ks wich is about 30- 40milesan hour do not ues chain driven it takes to long and it cost alot getting the gearig rite i went threw at least 3 sprokets before i gave up but anyway have fun cause i sure did :)

not an answer but ive got a 17cc wipper sniopper motor, i'm cleaning it up, and want to make a moderately sized remote car, does any one know of any diagrams for the chassis or no ov any good sites.

i made a gocart out of a 75cc weed wacker motor that my neighbors gave me by taking off the blade, and throwing on an old wheel barrel wheel, and after i threw on my made from scratch frame i got it up to about twenty mph before i wiped out, and took a trip to the emergency room where they gave me fifteen stiches, but don't let that get you down because i was young and stupid back then, and a gocart does'nt work very well with only one wheel in back, soon i will but my six year old cousin's training wheels on it.

in regards to the guy trying to make the rc car, i have also tried this, first u need 2 use larger than normal servos for the steering, and with the chassis a ladder type is good using tubing if u want to make it in quarter scale it will cost u i reccomend u use 1/8th scale and put a whole in the body for the engine.One other problem is the tyres get eaten up extremely quickly. but it will be quite fast.
