How was Church Today the First Sunday in September : LUSENET : A.M.E. Today Discussion : One Thread

The message today was "It is not Over Until I Say So" Scripture John 11:4 .....This sickness is not unto death but for the glory of God,....Nothing is over until the Lord deems it so. If we are on a journey continue until He has deemed you have arrived, No matter what we are involved in at this momemt, It is not over until He says so. Don't give up. The service today was so touching and inspirational. The singing was great, the fellowship was fantastic, I had a great time in service today. To all on the board I wish you a Blessed Week. Oh how exciting it is to be in communion with the Lord. It was just a fantastic day today. I wanted to share it with anyone willing to listen. How was church today in your town?

Glad to hear about your Sunday Service. My Sunday Service was great because the Invitation to Christian Discipleship resulted in 13 people joining. TO God Be The Glory!! QED

I agree with you sister Packer, I felt the spirit of the Lord moving within me. I celebrated my 55th birthday, September 3rd, my friends and family came out to a wonderful breakfast and the Lord moved at the celebration. There was a session where persons refelect about how well they knew me. I was moved to tears to know that God had allowed me to touch the lives of so many people spiritually. I try my best to live a wholesome and christian life. God is so good and I give Him all the Glory for everything he has done. There were 55 guest invited due to some circustances about 30 came. One gentleman reflected taht here we were at 11:00 am giving honor and remarks on a person that was living when there were 8 funerals going on . I am grateful to God. the worship service Sunday added to my Blessings. Church School was so great we did not want to break out for the closing. God is Awesome. keep on praising and giving Him the Glory, Everyone.
