Can Satan be saved?

Then what? Can Satan be baptized?

Satan was not born of water, right?

The Angels have different rules and commandments, surely....right?

Answers

Satan already believes Jesus exists, but he rejects Him. The Angels obey God and have battled with Satan and his demons. Satan refuses to do the works assigned to the Angels.

Humans are born of water; Angels were created by God. We do not know about the Angels' creation, do we?

"Can Satan be saved?"

Yes he can....in theory. Jehovah is a Just God and is merciful; Satan could ask for his forgiveness....but it has been written that he chose not too, and will be cast into the Lake of fire.

Well, if we are gonna look at this in a theoretical way...

Satan may blaspheme God and be forgiven.
Satan may blaspheme Jesus and be forgiven.
Satan may blaspheme the Holy Spirit, but this act has no forgiveness; Satan is pretty much damned to Hell.

So, based on theory, there is no Devine Mercy for Satan. Sorry.

Satan wasn't born of water, was he? Since he isn't born of water, but perhaps of spirit, he isn't part of the Salvation plan God has for us who are born of water and spirit. I maintain the notion that, because Satan and the Angels are already from Heaven, once fallen they can't get up. Also, if they would "get up", this would upset the centuries of theology. Or, would it?

Satan confesses, repents, and does penance then what? Would this mean Hell would have no host, but only its inmates would have eternal damnation there? How would prophecy be fulfilled if there is no Satan to rule the earth and then have him put away for ever? Would the implications then be that Satan is not one figure, but that Satan is in all of man when man rejects God? Interesting, but far fetched theology.

rod,

Don't make things difficult. In theory, Yes Satan can be forgiven. God and his foreknowledge knows that Satan will never repent.

-- David Ortiz (cyberpunk1986@hotmail.com), October 12, 2003.

Ha..ha..ah..ahhah....I try not to make it difficult. I will make it simple. I will keep it easy for you. I will not make the replies too hard. It will be easy. Simple, pimple! Easy, cheesy! I know that fundamentalist like things easy. I will slow it down for you. I am even typing very slowly. I hope you can see.

David, your Bible teaches that blasphemy against the Holy Ghost is unforgivable. So, Satan hasn't blashpemied against the Holy Ghost?

"Prove It!"

rod has borrowed a phrase from Prtestantism and is beginning to like the sound of it. He will say it again, "Prove It!" ..

-- rod (elreyrod@yahoo.com), October 12, 2003.

Is it really an "unforgivable" sin? What is blaspheme?

-- David Ortiz (cyberpunk1986@hotmail.com), October 12, 2003.

Satan lied to Eve in the Garden. That was the first blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, yes? At least, it was recorded for all men to read.

He did not lie...

-- David Ortiz (cyberpunk1986@hotmail.com), October 12, 2003.

The syntax of his words were very clever and therefore deceived Eve. In reality, this was a lie that was masked as truth. Satan lies and uses the truth to deceive. This is much like those "introductory offers". Sure, you get a real nice low rate at first, then when you are in a nice comfortable position, they jack the price up. They didn't lie; they told the truth. Actually, they used the truth to trick you....uh, deceive you. Satan must have stock in "introductory offers".

satan told them they would not die. Well, they didn't die right then and there. But, they had eternal life to start with. When they partook of the fruit and disobeyed God, they found themselves in a state of "death". Now, they had become mortal. Now, they had become fallen from God's Grace and would toil and suffer and have "death". No, they didn't just drop dead, as satan implied, they cut themselves off from eternal life. satan didn't mention that in his "introductory offer", now did he?

You merchants and business people out there, I hope you're listening! Especially, you insurance companies are gonna have to answer to your evil deeds. I will do my business with honest people who fear God. I don't like being deceived by those "creative" business deals. Name a price and keep your word; I do.
