I want to be a father, Im 28, with Osteogenisis Imperfecta/OI(Brittle Bones) I dont really want to put my future partner through the strain of bringing up my childs disability though. I would personally not mind, I would love the child no matter what, I have had a marvelouss life dispite what my disability throws at me somteimes. But I wouldnt want my lover/girlfriend to go through half the stress what my Mum went through in raising me! What do I do?

My family has OI. I have it and I had my daughter and she does not have at all. Remember 50/50 chance of child having it. My uncle had 2 children and neither of them have OI. You take a chance and pray. Sometimes children can have OI but never break.
