Go to www.midwayusa.com and find bsa scopes. Find the model you like and then click on it to read the reviews of some of tha folks that purchased them.

I got a $25.00 4X BSA scope and $6.00 mounting rings at Walmart. Mounted it to my 40 year old Winchester .22LR (that has had 20,000+ round through it, and hasn't been cleaned in 2000 rounds.) First time I've ever mounted or zeroed a scope, and I was shooting down shotgun shells at 100 yards. Shot 6 of them down in 8 shots. I didn't even have a benchrest or even a bipod...... I was resting the end of the rifle on ammo boxes.

As a sidenote, there was *no* wind, and it's hard because on the 4X scope, the crosshair is almost as wide as the shotgun shell at that range.

I'm about to go buy a new Savage .22LR and get a BSA 3-9x40 ($30) and new rings for this one....... I'll let you know how that goes.

If you're looking for real quality on an 800 yard gun, go for a Leupold, though........

I have a BSA catseye 3-10x44 fitted to my Remington 597 and it has worked well, but on the other hand itīs a .22 weapon and ive only used it at ranges up to 80 meters. /Johan
