Anything more then Salvation by Grace throught faith in Jesus Christ's perfect sacrifice is NOT Christianity. It's legalism.

I was born and raised Catholic, and I thank the many truths found in the Catholic teachings, but I'm afraid that the Roman Church has lost its true origins. In 1999 I was stricken with a rare form of a blood disorder and was in bed at Chrismas when I decided to read the beginning introduction of my Catholic Bible. To my surprise I was astonished at the herecies from Vatican II. I then decided to read the Gospel of St. John (A cousin of mine had told me for years to know the truth of who Jesus was "Begin with the Gospel of John", then he said, "Take the Roman Road" so I read John's Gospel and the Book of Romans. WOW what a revelation! Truly we are saved by God's Grace and nothing but the Blood of Jesus truly saves! Mary was a human being who was granted God's Grace to carry our Blessed Saviour in her womb. She is the mother of our Lord. NOT the *Mother of God* God is three persons yet one, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. How can she be the mother of the Trinity? Think about it!!!! She doesn't dispense graces. She is Blessed among women. That's it!!! We should look up to her for her faith!!!!! In accepting God's word via the angel Gabriel.

There far too many heretic teachings under the guise of *tradition* and Marian workship is becoming too common and being pushed to young children who haven't been given the opportunity to understand the simplicity of the Gospel. Recently my daughter's school, which holds rosary prayers every month asked the children to give their hearts to Mary. Imagine that!!!! We're to give our hearts and lives to our Blessed Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. Remember the most Holy Commandment God gave us: "You shall have no other Gods before me" and "You shall love the Lord your God with ALL your heart, mind and soul" (emphasis added). How can we love God with ALL our being when we're so busy praying to Mary and not to mention the saints as well.

I'm glad I've been born again, that is, born by the spirit of God into His Truth.

ANSWER: Yes we are saved by God's grace through faith in Christ AND through works of charity. It was James who said, "Ye are not saved by faith alone." No it's no legalism, it's scriptural.

Have you watched TBN, or any of the other Christian stations? Do you see Creflo Dollar teaching that we are EXACTLY like Christ, and if you don't have money out the ying-yang it's because you have not realized your divinity?

Or have you watched Benny Hinn, or Marilyn Hickey preaching the "name and claim it" doctrine. Or you watched Joyce Meyers, or Ken Copeland, or any of the other dozens of Protestant heretics out there leading people into financial and spiritual ruin.

I'm glad I've been born again, that is, born by the spirit of God into His Truth. ANSWER: So am I, now go to the Church of your birth and spread your joy but not your personal opinions as you have done here.

The Church's teachings and existence is based on the foundation of the apostles as taught in scripture, any other church is a fraud!
