I'm interested in the ACL Ocala District from Lakeland to High Springs and (I guess) Thomasville, GA. The excellent stories in Lines South about "Dispatching in the Dark" and "Wrecks On The ACL" piqued my interest. Is anyone modeling any of the big yards at High Springs, Trilby, or Dunellon, etc? I believe most of the line was abandoned and removed by CSX in 1984. Is that correct? Are there many Coast Line or SCL employees still living in High Springs? Thanks for any and all help.
