this is not about anime but how long does it take for the defrag process? I left it going all night and it is still at 0% why?????

if u've never defragment b4, it's going to take one hell of a time. i normally take 1 whole day to complete. and when u're defragmenting, u hav to close all program. eg, if u're cable connection, make sure the internet connection is disconnected cos any program running in the background will slow the process dramatically. and i think it also depends on your disk space...when the defragment starts it'll ask whether u want to scandisk first, which will also take a long time...

if anything is done i.e.

move the mouse type anything click anything go into powersave mode

it will then stop defrag and restart.. but it resume to the point it was defragging after a short scan
