Does any one know if MV's 02 and under have ca. emission if they are out of state? Can any one look and see if their bike emission says, california too + federal? I am interested in buying a 02 but not sure if they are legal in Ca. Any one knows?

The answer to the Califonia emmisions is that they are not legal. The 02 and below are 49 state bikes. I heard that the 03 will be legal. In order to get a legal MV here is to have at least 7500 miles on the odometer, register as a street legal race bike, or register outside the state. If you have a good dealer, let him slip it through DMV to get your plate. I hope this answers your question.
