I don`t want to spoil. IF YOU WATCH ONLY ANIME AND HAVEN`T WATCH MANGA, STOP READ MY POST. If my memory is correct, Gaara has fought with Sasuke first and Naruto after. If Gaara has transformed to monster form at 100%, there is not a chance for Itachi. Also, I don`t think the technic of Itachi (point press) will work on Gaara in monster form.

yeah probably gaara would have lost even if he turned into his 100% monster form but on the otherhand i don't know how strong itachi is cause i'm missing the manga episodes where itachi and sasuke fought! can somebody pleaze tell me where 2 get those episodes from or any other episodes that itachi shows his powers! all i know is that itachi is sasuke's older brother!

well, even orochimaru admited he isn't as strong as Itachi (it's after his arm was sealed by the 4th and he returned to his den with the four eyes nin). All three nins are able to pull out a monster like naruto. so i think Garaa has no chance of winning.

Gaara stands no chance. Even if he is more powerful in raw power (which is highly unlikely) Itachi is very very experienced, and is an absolute prodigy of the ninjitsu arts. Gaara would get raped so bad it is not even funny. *spoilers* = - - - when Itachi fought with Sasuke he pwned him so bad. It was frightful to see how powerful he was, he is even stronger than the legendary 3. way stronger.

yeaaaa...itachi would beat the shit out of gaara...as of now its been stated that itachi IS the strongest character in Naruto...thats as of now tho...and either way...chidori was able to break gaara's sand protection..so itachi probably has plenty of similar techniques to rip gaara to shreds.
