I'm just starting out a SWS-project and was curious as to whether there are any tactial competitions or "organized" shoots in Sweden. I'm interested in getting alot of range time but the national riflecomps hold little of interest for me.

Answers

The answer is yes SNIPER is in its 5 year one summer plus a winter competition.

The ranges are from 300-550 meters with time limits/different position sections/moving target sections.

Average turn out 50% military 50% civilian competitors.

The Range is 40 klicks outside Gothenburg.

I was wondering the same thing, not sure if "prickskytte 2001, 2002 osv" is still up and running, i read about it on this page.

I doubt there is many competitions outside the swedish army.
