Sunday afternoon drive

Well, for our Sunday evenin drive--Lil Dumplin and the old countryboy loaded up in our golf cart and took a looksee in the riverbottoms. Took our baseball bat along too for to thump any mean dogs what wanted to chase and bite us but it twarn't needed. Only seen one old dog and he musta been deaf because we knew he was already dumb! Lil Dumplin told'm to go lay down in his yard. He did!!

Found several interestin things to look at whilst down crossin the Wilcox bridge over Little Wabash river. Four wheelers have almost destroyed the grass on the grades. Ruts and dead grass has caused gullys to form on those highly erodable embankments.

Noticed several deer tracks and even seen one little deer. Cute little boogers but they sure can be destructive to small shade trees. Been busy also trackin and tryin to eliminate Mr. Mole. He has come to my farm this year after a year of not hav'n any. I'll find'm one of these days. If ya'll listen closely a 12 ga pump will beller and mr mole won't even have to burried.

Well on Sunday afternoon we drove over to a good friend's house to pick up some bunk beds. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Although we had to miss the evening services at church. I took along a cobbler, and a casserole. She had some beautiful little baby goats. Although I have plenty of myself, I always enjoy seeing other people's as well.
